​GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT

​What are the ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships®?

The 2026 ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships® is an international elite competition organized by the International Skating Union (ISU). The world's best synchronized teams compete for the official title of World Champion in synchronized figure skating. The event will be held in Salzburg, Austria, in April 2026 and will follow the current ISU Rules and Technical Specifications.

​When and where will the competition take place?

The World Championship will take place at the Salzburg Exhibition Center from April 10-11, 2025.

​How can I follow the competition if I'm not there? 

The event will be broadcast worldwide via livestream and TV. Depending on the region, it may also be broadcast on national TV channels. Details will follow shortly before the event.

TICKETS & ADMISSION

​Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available from October 15, 2025 via Oeticket / Eventim.

​Do infants need a ticket?

Children under 6 years of age do not require their own ticket as long as they sit on an adult's lap. A discounted child ticket must be purchased for a separate seat.

​Can I see where I sit when I buy?

Yes, the seat number and area will be shown to you when you purchase.

​How are the places allocated?

Seats are allocated automatically according to the “best available seats” principle at the time of purchase or via the seating plan booking.

​Why is my seat marked as “partially restricted”?

Some areas may be restricted due to the installation of technical equipment (e.g., judges' podium, cameras, Kiss & Cry). These spaces are marked accordingly in the system.

​Are there group rates?

There will be no separate group sales. However, up to 10 tickets can be purchased per order.

​Where is the “Kiss and Cry”?

The Kiss and Cry area is on the side opposite the jury, likely near Block 51.

​When will I receive my ticket?

E-tickets are sent via email immediately after purchase. Printing options and delivery methods are managed by the ticket provider.

​Can I transfer or return my ticket?

Tickets are generally non-transferable and non-refundable. Please check the current return and exchange policies upon purchase.

​Is resale permitted?

Resale is permitted exclusively through the official resale platform, which will be linked at the start of pre-sales.

ARENA & VISITOR RULES

​Are you allowed to bring gifts or flowers for the teams?

Yes. There is a designated drop-off area at the entrance. The organizing team will hand them over to the teams after their performances.

​What is not allowed to be taken into the arena?

Prohibited items include:

Personal food and drinks

Weapons, knives, or tools

Pyrotechnics and fireworks

Large cameras, tripods, drones

Political or advertising banners

Pets (except service animals)

​Is there food and drink in the arena?

Yes. Food stands with snacks, drinks, and hot meals are available indoors. Empty water bottles are permitted.

​Can I bring a stroller or luggage?

There are no storage facilities for strollers or luggage in the arena.

​Is photography allowed?

Yes, photos from your own seat are permitted as long as you don't disturb other attendees.

📸 No flash, no shutter sound, no large lenses, or professional equipment.

🎥 Video recordings of entire programs or live streams are not permitted.

​Can I leave the arena during the event?

Yes, but keep your ticket with you. A special stamp or pass may be required for re-entry.

​Is smoking permitted in the ice arena? 

No. The arena is smoke-free. There are designated smoking areas outside.
